On Big Sioux River at Hawarden Iowa Boat and shore fishing will be allowed Steak dinner and refreshments will be provided at flatlanders following the weigh in.

Adults RELEASE OF LIABILITY -- READ BEFORE SIGNING In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the Pro Sport Bistro Fishing Tournament , its related events and activities, I, _________________________________________________ , the undersigned, being of at least 18 years of age, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,
I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the Company immediately; and,
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE Pro sport bistro, the state of south Dakota or state of iowa their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used for the activity ("Releasees"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Violating tournament rules will result in automatic disqualification. Entry Fee: $70 per team with minimum of 2 fishermen per boat; this is for safety reasons. All fisherman ages 16 and older fees are $35 per person except children under 16 are free, children under 16 must still register to be in the tournament and parents must sign the waiver. All participants must sign a waiver.
GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS EXPECTED OF ALL INDIVIDUALS DURING THE TOURNAMENTAny disorderly conduct will be ample reason for disqualification.
Entry fees must be received via mail or at the Pro Sport Bistro by June 19, 2010. NO ENTRIES WILL BE EXCEPTED AFTER June 19, 2010 No ExceptionsAll State and Federal laws and regulations will be observed. Any infraction of these laws and regulations will result in disqualification. It is the responsibility of the entrant to be familiar with these laws and regulations. Tournament Hours: 8am to 5pm on June 19th 2010, weigh in will be from 4pm to 5pm All boats or fisherman must be at weigh in area by 5pm no exceptions All participants MUST be present at the tournament meeting held prior to take off. No exceptions. All participants will be notified in advance of tournament meeting. All boats and anglers must be at weigh-in area located at Carr’s Landing by 5pm on Saturday June 19th, 2010. No snagging will be allowed. Fish must be caught using a handheld pole. Fish must be caught on sporting tackle and be hooked and landed by the entrant only and can be caught from shore or boat. Life vest must be available for each person in the boat. All tournament boats must maintain a distance of 50 yards between each other. If fishing out of the boat, you must be within 150 feet of the boat. A maximum of 10 fish per team will be weighed in, only two of which can be dead. No culling of fish at weigh-in. Once a fish has been weighed and recorded, it is part of your catch. You cannot replace it with a larger fish. All children 16 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult. Children under 16 will have their own bracket. With their own prizes. Fish can only be caught by handheld pole method. No foul hooked fish will be accepted. A maximum of 2 rods per person will be allowed, or as State rules permit. However, you may have extra rods & reels in the boat. Ties & disqualifications will be decided by the tournament committee. No chumming. No fishing intentionally baited holes. Any protests must be made within 30 minutes of weigh-in time. All entry fees must be received by 8am on June 19th, 2010 No exceptions Bait limited to night crawlers, chubs, bait shrimp, Frogs ,chicken liver or sink bait All entrants must present their meal ticket to eat after weigh-in. Extra tickets may be purchases before the meal. |
